Isometric Diagram Infographic Design for Adapting Our Homes to Heat

The project

The UK Green Building Council (UKGBC) asked us to create an informative yet visually captivating infographic. The brief outlined the need for an isometric diagram-style graphic depicting a house, and effectively highlighting a variety of methods to make homes more resilient to overheating. The final design needed to be versatile, suitable for display across various social media platforms and Google slides.

The challenge

To create a scalable and adaptable design, we utilized Adobe Illustrator, ensuring the graphic maintained its quality across various sizes and platforms. On project kickoff, we established the design would likely be set against a white or pale background and be of landscape orientation, making it easily adaptable for LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Google slides.

This project allowed us to exercise our skills in harmonizing informative and appealing design principles to develop an isometric infographic that meaningfully presents strategies for adapting homes to heat. We aimed to maintain efficiency in our work process and transparent communication with the client, which we believe contributed to the timely delivery of the project and, we hope, to the client's satisfaction.
