The project

We designed the report for Creative Friction. The report begins a conversation on the creative process in co-working and collaborative work by distilling key insights from peer-reviewed organisational research.

Painted illustrations are by Keiko Nishiyama -, an international fashion designer and print artist based in London and Tokyo.

The challenge

Pulling out key pieces of information including quotes, diagrams, and stages was difficult as the report had multiple academic references. Establishing a clear content hierarchy was critical to guide the reader through all levels of content.

The impact

The report helps co-working spaces to change the way they nourish the creative interactions that truly matter. We created clear typesetting and visualisations to help the reader navigate the complex findings, providing an accessible report.
